Metro Vocal Group is sad to hear of the passing of one of its former members, Joel Diffendaffer. Joel helped make the original audition tape for MVG’s contract in 1998 and sang with MVG at Tokyo Disney Sea in 2003. Joel was the nicest guy you’ll ever meet and matched that with his talent and love of music. We were so fortunate to have Joel record for our 20th anniversary album just a few weeks ago, which will always be a treasured moment for us. We think of his wife Lori, daughter Ava and his family, and send them love and comfort from across the seas. Joel, brother, we will see you on the other side. Thank you for everything you gave us. You will be greatly missed by all.
